The Political Economy and eDemocracy (PEDEM) workshop took place at ETH Zurich on 28 November 2025. We were delighted to welcome the following speakers to the workshop, which was very well received: Giovanni Andreottola, Alice Gindin and Pedro P. Pérez Velasco were the speakers.
Keywords that emerged from the research papers included rhetoric, Poe's Law, obstruction, accusations, tolerance and polarization.

The workshop was jointly organized by the Professorship for Political Economy and eDemocracy and the Professorship for Macroeconomics: Innovation and Policy in collaboration with the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR).
